Nice!! For some reason the work stands out even more as they are juxtaposed with one another.

looking through your work i see your fascination with shape and color is very strong. it seems that everything you do has a very finished appearance to it. i think when you using shape it allows for a very solid structure from the start. this is something i really want to incorporate into my work.

i have a very sculptural drawing/painting style and it can lead to interesting things, but often the work must be labored over extensively to get something of substance out of it. do you know what i mean?

anyways, i'm very glad to have found your work. i just looked at your blog. awesome!

I know exactly what you mean. At least you have a really good head-start with "realism" before you move somewhere else.
Absorb all the good influences you can, that's very very wise of you. But the "real art" will come from the things you enjoy the most doing. Believe me-- :giggle:

Yes, I've become more "synthetic" over the years, abandoning my efforts in many things and putting attention to others. I'm 30 now BTW.
Mostly, composition and color and shapes. My true loves. But not the end of the road, no señor!

This great! I love the cubistic style to these but it's not SO distorted that we can't tell what it is. You have a brilliant style! Keep up the good work!
